Wire Transfer

Greater Kinston Credit Union can send and receive domestic and international wires for our members through a direct, electronic link with the Federal Reserve. If you wish to send a wire transfer, you must obtain accurate and complete wiring instructions from the party receiving the wire about the receiving financial institution.

If you frequently send wire transfers from the same Credit Union debit account to the same recipient or beneficiary account, you can request a recurring number by contacting our branch or online via Connect GKCU. If your recurring wire number is not used for 12 consecutive months, it will be deleted.

• Funds are transmitted exactly as directed by sender
• $15 domestic wire transfer fee
• $35 international wire transfer fee
• No wire transfer receiving fee
